This programme is suitable for:

• Dental professionals who wish to integrate gentle TMJ-focused techniques within their scope of practice, and

• Other suitable healthcare and wellness professionals who would like to learn how to support clients living with this often debilitating condition.

No prior bodywork training is required. The course is designed to be accessible, step-by-step and gentle on both practitioner and client.

This Level 3 TMJ Therapy® training offers a specialist pathway in TMJ-focused care and is recognised by a range of insurers, including medical insurance for dental professionals via All Med Pro (subject to their current criteria and your individual circumstances).

• In-person days are held in Wigan, UK (approx. 2 hours by direct train from London and around 3 hours from Edinburgh or Glasgow), subject to venue and date availability.

Programme structure

The full TMJ Therapy® Diploma pathway includes:

• 3 foundational online modules with Thinktree Hub, providing core theory and underpinning knowledge

Plus the main TMJ Therapy® training:

• The Foundation in TMJ Therapy® – Theory and Practical Modules
  Core concepts, safety, assessment and foundational TMJ techniques.

• TMJ2 – Online Advanced Myofascial Bodywork for TMJ
  Theory and practical modules focusing on deeper myofascial approaches around the jaw, neck and related structures.

• TMJ3 – A full-body approach
  Theory and practical modules exploring the deep front line, pelvic balance and feet, integrating TMJ work into a whole-body perspective.

Your enrolment includes assessment and tutorial support for the modules listed above.

Successful completion of the required modules, assessments and coursework will result in the award of the Advanced Diploma in TMJ Therapy®, in line with the course criteria and our assessment standards.
